Some new & useful info about the registry:
I spend hours on the internet tracking down 124 coupes world wide. I have seen so many cars in forums, blogs and in for sale ads!. I find it hard to believe what is accounted for in registry indicates the true surviving coupes world wide. I predict there are at least easily a 1000 cars still alive not listed here or the Italian registry!

119 AC Coupes in Owner's Registry
Please assist us in registering all the surviving 124 Sport Coupes. By doing so allows us a better chance at preserving them through owner communication. If you know of any other Coupe owners, would you be kind enough to pass on the URL of the site. Please email coupes@fiat124sportcoupe.com the following information about your Coupe:
NEW FEATURE: Where you read “pictures” “video” or any word or phrase underlined within the registry, this is a hyperlink to view the various media content concerning that coupe.
PLEASE NOTE: Going by the chassie numbers in the Italian coupe registry the 67 year production coupe ends at about the 20000 mark. So I will use this as a giude to begin the 68 production numbers which ends around the 70000 mark. 69 year production ends around the 110000 mark. Until I get documentation and true facts, the registry will stay this way "unofficial"
ANOTHER IMPORTANT NOTE: There are 21 AC coupes in the Italian registry that are not listed below

Car is newly imported from Bologna, Italy. Very genuine condition with nice patina. Absolutely no welding, first paint.
Administer says wow, car still has the original rare “early” production interior door armrests!! The seats look remarkably unused especially the drivers seats cushion, considering the 83.000 kms.(look at the intact stitching) This is certainly one correct unmolested AC! Too bad some of the origional gold rimmed gauges have been replaced from a later production car. Would be nice to have more pictures of the car, like the engine compartment. |

Original stuff outfitted with an old AUTOVOX radio set and pneumatic horns. This car is on the road (as you see in the picture) and belong to my family since 30 May 1967 (registration date) and it should be one of the firsts that have come in Ferrara. |

Car purchased in Sept. '73. Driven until 1991. Hit and run accident in 74 led to later read panel, lights and bumber. After several fender benders, changed color to white. Original Fiat wheels split and widened to 8 inches. Car waiting for restoration: new windshield, rocker panels, wheel arches, paint. Was going to abandon but '75 spyder project came out so good I hope to repeat that success with the coupe. Coupe was much quicker than spyder. |

Will be on the road again in the summer 2003 with new paint, not in original condition but in original style. Leather interior made in 80´s like new. Was not very rusted because it has been treated with anti-rust compounds over the years. Original colour blue, but painted red (with metalflakes) also in 80´s. SC will be red in future too, but without flakes.. |

This car was bone stock when I got it. One of the few surviving 4 speed torque tube cars. Colour was changed by the previous owner and was yellow externally. Was heavily rusted in various parts of the car (mostly lower end) I have completely restored her from the ground up. Also changed the colour to the original Fiat silver code 606. This was one of the colour choices for the 68 AC. The motor will be a modified 2litre or 1756cc NA. Stay tuned for my step by step resto tech article in the making. |

This car was parked outside Reno Nevada in 1985 by the original owner. He left a lot of notes including information that the number 1 exhaust valve was probably burned and the rear end was starting to clunk when he took up drive. He drained the rear end and the gas tank and parked it.
I bought it from his wife after he died a few years ago. She told me this was the car he was driving when he started dating her. He bought the car from the Fiat dealer, Aurora Import Cars Inc in Seattle, WA in Dec 1968. It is registered as a 69 with a manufact date of 1968. He paid 3230.40 including tax. It needs a lot of work to get her back onto the road. The cylinder head has been replaced and is awaiting the first attempt at firing her up. Interior is incredible after all those years of sitting in the desert. |

Kept in garage since 1986 until I bought it from the original owner in 2005 with 82,790 original miles. Put it back on the road in 2006 and did a restoration on the body in 2007. I plan to do the interior this fall (2011) after I finish my1969 Fiat 124 Sport Spider. Administer says beautiful clean and in original. excellent condition! |

Koni adjustable shocks, new dual-circuit brake system, reco'ed 5-speed etc. It's just been involved in a crash (after the attached picture was taken), so i will be sourcing another body shell and intend to have it painted red or black, or perhaps even in racing colours | |
